Elegance, originality and design for Camellia, a very large Art Deco style lamp. Classic of the 30s.
Unique piece, handmade and signed (Warning: there can not be a 2nd copy, so impossible to have a pair)
The base and foot (old) have been renovated. Made of solid beech (initially coated with a dark brown paint), they were completely laid bare in order to be tinted in Napoleon black and treated with the morning shellac, antiquarian patina finish. Particular care has been taken to the different stainless steel parts.
The "tulip" type luminaire consists of 6 sides in Art Deco glass motifs in Tiffany stained glass in bright white and black colors. The 6 sides are, for each of them, decorated with a camellia painted in grisaille and cooked at 650 °. Welds and patinated finishes. Very large: Height 60 cm, diameter 29 cm. Led bulb E27 provided.
